In some cases, other teams, besides the IT team, need to access the dashboard information, but without having access to other functionalities of the platform. Here's how to do it!
VaultOne is a platform that provides an extra layer of information security for your company, but it does not need - and should not - be limited only to the security or IT team.
The information we provide on the Dashboard menu, for example, is useful for several teams, such as compliance, auditing, and even HR.
See the two options below and choose the best one for your necessity:
1. Setting the permission in the Profiles menu
*This first option is recommended if you want to change the permission of several people at the same time.
Access the Roles menu, and look for the role that will have access to the dashboard. Click actions and then edit:
In the window that pops up, click on Permissions, look for the Dashboard folder and select it:
Finally, don't forget to save:
ATTENTION: When making this change through the roles menu, you will change the permission of all users within that role. So, if you want to change the permission of only 1 user, see the next option:
2. Setting the permission in the Users menu
*Here, you will change the permission of only 1 person.
Access the Users menu, and look for the person who will have access to the dashboard. Here, click actions and then permissions:

Look for the Dashboard folder, select and click save:
