The vault's dashboard is the first screen that the main admin will see as soon as he/she logs in to the platform. Discover the importance of it through this article!
The dashboard is the screen in which the main admin will have access to all activities going on in the company's safe. It can be accessed through the dashboard menu:
The dashboard is divided into 3 parts:
1. Resources;
2. Credentials;
3. Credential status;
Resources
In this first session, there is an overview of how the resources are distributed in your safe:

Credentials

In the boxes on the side, there are the most viewed credentials and the weak credentials.
- Checking these two pieces of information frequently is of the utmost importance!
- Weak credentials: VaultOne does not actively interfere in the quality of passwords, it only informs, through the dashboard, the credentials that are considered weak. The admin is in charge of notifying users or changing them.
- Viewed credentials: Here, understand viewed credentials as those credentials that can actually be seen by users, that is, the key or password are available for viewing.
Credential Status
This last session reports the status of the credentials. In the first box you can see the expired credentials; in the middle, those about to expire; and the one on the right, the old credentials, created more than 60 days ago.
Regardless, if a user tries to connect in to a resource with an expired credential, the platform will promptly notify him that this credential needs to be updated.
All the information present on the dashboard can be useful not only for the IT team, but also for HR or audit teams, for instance, so if you want people to have restricted access to the dashboard only, access the link below:
