What is a connector and what is it used for?

VaultOne is a hybrid platform and, therefore, part of its software is installed in the cloud and the other part is installed in your company's environment, this part we call connectors.

The Connector serves as a "bridge" between the user and the resource the user wants to access.

Here is our topology:

It is possible to install as many connectors as the company deems necessary, but only 1 can be configured as a standard connector.

Note: Each connector supports up to 50 simultaneous accesses.

All new features that are added to the platform can be configured for this standard connector.

To delete a standard connector, you must disassociate all the accesses that this connector allows.
