Requirements to connect via bastion

Check what are the 5 requirements for the connection via Bastion to be available when connecting to a computer.

1 – It is necessary to have a connector associated with the computer, however this connector cannot be the VaultOne default connector.

See in the image the connector WHICH MUST NOT be associated with the computer if you want to connect via bastion:

In the Computers menu, click actions and then edit on the computer you want to access via Bastion:

See which connector is associated with it (remembering, it cannot be Connector VaultOne):

2 – The connector version must be superior than or equal to 18

In the Administration>Connectors menu, see which is the version of the connectors:

3 – The computer which the user is using must have the Windows operating system

4 – The video recording option within the computer registration must be disabled.

In the Computers menu, see if the Record Video option appears, if so, it needs to be disabled:

5 – The computer protocol must be RDP type.

In the same menu as the previous item, select the RDP protocol:

Meeting all these requirements, the option to connect via bastion will become available!
