The VaultOne platform already offers multi-factor authentication, without having to use an app for that, but if you prefer to use an OTP authenticator, here's how to do it:
The multi-factor authentication of the platform itself is done by email or SMS and is configured by the admin, however, the user can configure his own OTP authenticator and improve the security of his personal access.
Check in the article how the admin must enable multi-factor authentication for all users: How to enable multi-factor authentication
Click on the user icon in the upper right corner of the screen and then on My Settings:
In the newly opened window, click on the Multi-factor Authentication tab and then on Activate:
A QRCode will appear on your screen. Scan it using the cell phone camera inside the OTP authenticator and click save:
OTP authenticator
As a suggestion, use Google Authenticator by clicking on the link below:
From now on, whenever you log in to VaultOne, just after entering your password, you will be asked for another authentication factor.
As an example in the GIF below, we chose Google Authenticator and clicked Submit. Go to the app and enter the generated code for VaultOne.
