How to share access to a resource with another user

One of the main features of VaultOne is to be able to share access in a secure and traceable way. To do this, never share your credentials with third parties, on the contrary, follow the step-by-step instructions to learn how to share them securely.

In the Computers menu, click Actions on the computer or server you want to share access to and then click Edit:

Here, click on the Sharing Preferences tab and then add the new user you will share access to:

First, select the user and then define if he will be able to Manage, view details and/or connect to this resource:

ATTENTION:
Manage - the user can change any information in this feature, including deleting user and credentials;
View Details - the user will be able to see the credentials and connect to the resource externally and thus it will not be possible to track when he has connected;
Connect - the user can only connect to this resource without seeing any other information from that resource;

Click OK to add the user:

After adding the user, select him and then define what credentials he can use to connect:

Now click Save:

That's it, this feature will appear in the computers menu of the new user's vault and with the access permission you defined for him:
