In this guide, we will learn how to register and access a database using the VaultOne platform's Database functionality.
VaultOne currently works with the following database options:
PostgreSQL
MySQL
MariaDB
Aurora
SQL Server
Oracle
Firebird
DB2 (LUW)
DB2 (iSeries)
Clickhouse
Apache Kyuubi

First Step: Create a new Database.
Access the Database Menu:
Click on the "Add Database" button:
Fill in the fields as shown in the example below and add a credential.
Before saving the settings, make sure to go to the sharing menu and define the users or user groups who will have access to this database and specify their access level.
Note: In some scenarios, customization of the destination database connection string may be required.
Info: If the "Connect" option is unavailable, please check if the active user on the platform has the necessary permissions to access it.
Second Step: Accessing the Database.
To establish the connection, simply click the button as shown in the example below, hovering over the name of the desired database:
On the next page, you will need to double-click the desired database. This happens because there is the possibility of initiating a connection with multiple databases available simultaneously, as shown in the example below:

Third Step: Using the Database.
Your database is ready for use. To execute new queries in this database, click the button labeled SQL in the top left corner, as shown in the example below.

To record the video session of DataBase accesses, follow the steps below.
Enable the DB Shield option:
Access the new tab (DB Shield):
Here, you can enable video recording and make additional edits such as disabling file transfer.
