In this help guide, you will learn how to transfer files from your local machine to a website access session via WebShield.
First step: Check the transfer options in the platform
To ensure that an asset allows transfers, go to the Websites menu, select the desired asset, and click on Actions -> Edit. Then, navigate to the Web Shield tab and locate the options Disable File Transfer and Disable Clipboard. Make sure both options are unchecked, ensuring that transfers are enabled.
Second step: Use the Ctrl + Alt + Shift Command
After connecting to a website via WebShield, press Ctrl + Alt + Shift on your keyboard to open the Clipboard Area.
Third step: Upload the File
Go to the Downloads directory and click on Upload Files. Then, select the file you want to transfer. Once the upload is complete, the file will be available in the download location.
Fourth step: Upload to the Website
On the website, select the File Upload option. This will open a new tab, where you should navigate to the downloads directory, where all the files sent for this session will be located.
To upload, simply double-click the file or select it and click Open.
Note: Through the connector, the maximum transfer size is 100MB, so it’s important to check the file size before uploading. If you need to increase this limit, it can be adjusted via command lines. For that, please contact the support team.
Please contact our support ([email protected] or via Chat inside the platform) if you need any help.
