How to Grant Access Only to the Dashboard Menu

In some cases, users may need access to the dashboard information but no to the rest of the platform. This guide will show you how to configure such access.

The VaultOne platform can provide an additional layer of security for your company. However, it doesn't need to be limited to only the Security or IT teams, it can be extended to the entire organization.

There are two ways to grant that kind of access to a user.

First step: Setting Permission via the Roles Menu

*This option is recommended to change the permission of multiple people at once.

After adding the user to the platform, access the Roles menu and look for the profile that will have access to the panel. Click on actions and then on edit:

In the windows that opens, click Permissions, than look for Dashboard. Select it:

NOTICE: Changing the Permissions through the Roles menu will affect all users assigned to that role. So, if you want to change permission for just 1 user, see the next option.

Second step: Setting Permission via Users Menu

*This option is recommended to change the permission of a single user.

After adding the user to the platform, access the Users menu and look for the person who will have access to the panel. Here, click on actions and then on permissions:

In the windows that opens, look for Dashboard. Select it:
