If you are in a Windows environment, and want to connect via RDP Client to any Computer in your VaultOne, it is possible to use the Windows RDP client, instead of using the session in the browser.

NOTICE:
To successfully update the VaultOneRDPConnector in Windows Machines, you need to perform the following steps on the user's machine:
1. First, delete the old VaultOneRDPConnector.exe file.
2. Download the new file in the links below.
3. Once downloaded, place the new file in the same directory as the old one.
4. Run the file as an Administrator/Root.
After completing these steps, the application should function normally.
First step:
First, download the VaultOne RDP Connector Application.

Please run the application with admin privilege.

To run the file we first need to add the permission needed, follow the steps below to add the permission and run the file:
sudo chmod +x ./VaultOneRDPConnector
sudo ./VaultOneRDPConnector
If the error "No usable version of libssl was found" apears during installation, follow the steps below to fix it
wget http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/o/openssl/libssl1.1_1.1.0g-2ubuntu4_amd64.deb
sudo dpkg -i libssl1.1_1.1.0g-2ubuntu4_amd64.deb
Third step:
Access the servers tab, search for the resource that you will access via the RDP Client, click on Actions and then on Edit.
Fourth step:
To access a machine via RDP Client, you need to disable video recording, that is, all connections on a Windows machine outside the browser will not be recorded. After disabling recording, save the change in the top right corner.
Fifth step:
Return to the computers tab and select the respective computer to connect by clicking on “Actions -> Connect”.
Sixth step:
In “Connection Information”, select “Direct Access”. If any question appeared in the installation process click the “How to use Direct Access?”.
Seventh step:
A new box should appear on the top side of the screen, click “Open".
Eighth step:
All Done! A new session will be opened using the Windows RDP Client application.
IF THE ACCESS IS BEEING DONE WITH THE Windows RDP Client, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO RECORD THE VIDEO OF THE SESSION.
