VaultOne Accesses the website but neither of the username/e-mail or the password fields are automatically filled
Updated over a month ago

If you are trying to access a website via VaultOne and any of the fields are not being filled automatically, you can try the steps below to fix this problem.

First Step: Open Developer tools

Directly access the website link that you registered with VaultOne, right-click on the user/email field. Then click Inspect.

Second step: Copy the selector

Note that you will be directed to the user/email field tag within your browser's developer tools. On top of this tag, right-click, select Copy and Copy selector.

Third Step: Paste the element selector

After copying the selector, go back to the Websites menu within VaultOne, look for the website you want to make this configuration, click on Actions -> Edit -> Extension, in the Extension window, you must paste the selector that was copied into the Selector field of the Username/email field selector. On the same page, click Save.

Ready!

You informed the VaultOne extension of the location of the user/email field and now access to this website will be done automatically.

NOTE: The same step by step applies to all fields:

  • PASSWORD field;

  • CONTINUE button;

  • LOG IN button;

  • Fields to HIDE.
