How to enable video recording of sessions

If this functionality is available in the subscription package you purchased, you can activate video recording for certain features. Check how:

First step: Select the connector responsible for storing the recordings

In the Administration -> Connectors menu, click Actions and Edit on the connector that will store the recordings:

Select Record Video and then click on Save:

Second step: Select the sessions you want to record

On the Servers menu, click Actions and Edit on the computer where the sessions will be recorded:

Here, select the Connector that we defined that would store the sessions in the first step of this tutorial:

After choosing the correct connector, the Record Video option will be available. At the bottom of the editing screen select Record Video and click Save:

Ready now, every time the asset is accessed, its session will be recorded.

ATTENTION

  • Note that the option to record video will ONLY appear if the selected connector also has the option to record video selected.

  • If the user uses a connection via RDP through the machine's client, it will not be possible to record the session.

  • When accessing via SSH, it is possible to record the session both through the client and through the browser.
